Conventional Wells

MONITOR WELL INSTALLATION - ZEBRA has installed 1/2 in. to 2 in. diameter wells for both monitor and recovery systems. Well materials comprised of PVC, stainless steel, galvanized steel or carbon steel. Monitor wells have been installed to depths of up to 150 ft.

WELL DEVELOPMENT - ZEBRA has developed wells with hand bailers, submersible pumps, and hand pumps. Surge rigs with jetting and surge blocks are also used when required.

GROUTING - During surface casing installation, ZEBRA has tremie grouted to depths of 150 ft, pressure grouted to depths of 200 ft, and grouted by positive displacement to depths of 150 ft. ZEBRA has also pressure grouted subsurface cavities for non-environmental, construction purposes.

DECONTAMINATION - ZEBRA has performed 5 step and 7 step EPA decontamination procedures on several Superfund and government projects. The procedures usually include scrubbing with nonphosphate detergents, deionized water rinses, deionized organic free water rinses and pesticide grade rinses (isopropanol). However, most of our projects typically require less rigorous decontamination procedures.

PACKER TESTING - ZEBRA has performed both double and single packer tests with both constant pressure and flow. Capabilities include diameters from 2.5 in. to 8 in.
