Injection Equipment

ZEBRA maintains a highly diverse equipment to support In Situ injection projects. It has been our experience that site-specific lithology conditions differ dramatically across states and regions. Our goal is to bring a spectrum of equipment to the project site, to be able to make adjustments on the fly in response to unknown lithologic challenges. We maintain trucks, pumps and tanks with interchangeable connections to allow our experienced field crews to adjust to site-specific conditions with a minimum of down time and expense. Additionally, our vast experience with all of the remediation products and local knowledge of regional lithology gives our field crews the edge when performing at your project.

ZEBRA PUMPS
Fluid Viscosity is a measure of the resistance of a fluid which is being deformed by either shear stress or extensional stress. In general terms it is the resistance of a liquid to flow, or its "thickness". Viscosity describes a fluid's internal resistance to flow and may be thought of as a measure of fluid friction. Thus, water is "thin", having a lower viscosity, while vegetable oil is "thick" having a higher viscosity. All real fluids (except superfluids) have some resistance to stress, but a fluid which has no resistance to shear stress is known as an ideal fluid or inviscid fluid. ZEBRA has a full array of pumps to make your "thick" or "thin" injection project successful.

Rupe Pump

Special soil remediation/injection unit primarily used to inject a large number of "thick" viscous chemicals. Injection rates as high as 9 gallons per minute and 1500 psi 24 horsepower Honda engine.

Rupe Pump

Double Diaphragm Pumps

Double Diaphragm injection pump primarily used to inject a "thin", lower viscosity chemicals.

Double Diaphragm Pumps
GS2000 and GS1000 Series Pumps

Designed specifically by Geoprobe for the injection of the bioremediation products.

DP800 Pump

The DP800 was designed to pump chemicals that are injected in high volumes where low volume/high pressure pumps are not well suited. At 8 gpm, the DP800 can pump most chemicals 2-3 times faster than the Geoprobe GS Series machines. With acids, the need for a high volume/medium pressure pump is evident.

ZEBRA INJECTION TANKS

Platform Tanks

Large Scale semi-permanent tank set up. ZEBRA has the tanks, cone or cube to make your injection project successful.

Truck Mounted Tanks

Mobile Truck mounted tank set up. ZEBRA can mount any tanks to our injection trucks or trailers. This method allows the consultant to do multiple locations spread over a large land area.

ZEBRA INJECTION TOOLS

Zone Isolation Injection Probe. This injection probe allows the consultant to put the injected product where it makes the most contact with the contaminant .

ZEBRA uses custom check valves to keep the injected product in the ground.

Pressure Measurements

ZEBRA Pressure measurements of both the pump pressure and soil and groundwater matrix pressure gives the consultant optimum delivery of the injected product.
